I'm definitely not qualified enough to grasp everything but intel's 10nm 1185g7 (a 15 watt 10nm mobile chip) has almost a 600 single core performance, the 10900k only has a 540 while ryzen 5000 starts at around 600, is it reasonable to expect desktop versions of intel 10nm to start around 650+? I'm definitely not upgrading to ryzen 5000 before seeing the full benchmarks of rocket lake chips. Man, it would have sucked ass having bought a 9900K/10900K only to have the rocket lake i5 outperform them hard in single thread, kind of like the RTX 2080ti situation compared to 3000 lol. I was and to an extent am very shocked with AMD's recent staggering blows to intel mostly (and severely) in the multithreaded areas but somehow now even after ryzen 5000 astonishing increases in performance it appears that Intel is going to make more sense for "low" core count reasonable gamer builds.
